Enjoy a relaxed 5km run or walk through Mackay. The Twilight City Run is held in early March and is a pre-cursor to the much-anticipated Mackay Marina Run event held on the first Sunday in June.

The Mackay Marina Run attracts runners from across the region for a morning of racing along Mackay's waterfront.
With several distances available, the event caters for experienced runners, casual participants, families and juniors.

Starting near Netherdale, the King & Queen of the Mountain sends runners uphill towards Eungella for one of the region's most unique running events.
The climb is tough, but that's exactly why people keep coming back.
